A kiruv organization is looking to hire a director for our program this Summer.
This is a temporary position, starting immediately and going on until the end of the summer, with a possibility of staying on in a different capacity.
The position will start part-time and will grow closer to 3/4 -time closer to the Summer.
We’re looking for someone who highly values Jewish education and Jewishly connecting unaffiliated Jews. A team player who is a people-person and loves interacting with others. Someone who is willing to give their all into making the program run smoothly and a hardworking person who takes responsibility.
The position involves knowing how to work in a highly organized way and dealing with logistics, and, at the same time, can also focus on giving participants an authentic Jewish experience.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
-Overseeing counselors and delegating to others.
-Joining the program for part of their trips and programming.
-Organize and coordinate logistics.
-Trouble-shoot and problem solve technical issues.
-Mentor and meet with students on the program.
-Be part of the Educational team in developing the educational module.
-English Fluent, Hebrew Fluent preferable (but still open to someone, whose Hebrew is not on same level as English).
