Responsibilities:

Communicate with clients to gain an understanding of their needs/preferences and provide guidance accordingly.

Explain insurance concepts to clients.

Gather underwriting info to create risk profile

Create and submit applications to appropriate carriers/underwriters

Endeavor to obtain competitive quotes by identifying all available credits and correctly classifying risk

Review quotes and forms to ensure that terms are as required

Create insurance proposals

Utilize company software to track and record activity

Respond to client inquiries by phone and email

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years experience (in commercial insurance) required

Property & Casualty Insurance License a plus, but not required

Strong attention to detail

Solid time management and multi-tasking ability

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Confident – Comfortable speaking with producers and clients

Articulate – Able to express themselves well verbally and via email

Problem Solver

Able to take direction and ask for help

Energetic, can-do attitude!
